History

Igor Ishizakakaski is a Japanese architect. He was born in Kanto, although his parents came from Sorenbo in the East Kuremeru district. He is known for his simple, functional designs. He was involved in the urban planning of Ward 24 during its revitalization, and many of the buildings that appear throughout The Silver Case were designed by him.

He is mentioned in the Lospass Guidebook as the designer of the Hotel Flower, Sun, and Rain. During the planning stages of the hotel, Igor visited Lospass Island multiple times. He planned to make his design symbolic of the flowers, sun, and rain of the island. On the night of his first visit he saw a shower of shooting stars, which inspired the hotel's star-shaped design.

Trivia

• Igor Ishizakakaski is based on Akihiko Ishizaka, a developer at Grasshopper Manufacture who has been referenced in numerous easter eggs in the studio's games. The photo of Igor in the Lospass Guidebook is of Ishizaka.
