Yukari Hasegawa is the main playable character in Twilight Syndrome: Search and it's immediate sequel Twilight Syndrome: Investigation. She returns as a major supporting character in Moonlight Syndrome.Yukari is a seemingly average highschool student attending Hinashiro High School. She has difficult home life as well as a relationship with assistant teacher Kazuya Kitamura. She frequently uses her relationship to obtain the keys to the school to investigate rumors of paranormal activity after hours at the behest of her friend Mika Kishii, always accompanied by her childhood friend Chisato Itsushima.

Appearance and Personality
Yukari is a relatively average looking high school girl with long dark hair standing taller than her friends Chisato and Mika. In theTwilight Syndrome games Yukari is always shown wearing her school uniform but in Moonlight Syndrome she is shown wearing a long sleeved black shirt with matching black pants. Yukari claims to have little interest in Mika's rumors but always seems to accompany her on her adventures anyway. She keeps a level head reacting to most of the paranormal phenomenons she encouters with skepticism, however this could be her way of coping with fear.
