Typhoon

Typhoon is an apartment building in Ward 24 and a recurring location in The Silver Case. It is the home of Tokio Morishima, and appears throughout the Placebo storyline. It also serves as the primary setting of case#2:spectrum.

Typhoon is located in Area D4 of Ward 24. It consists of five floors of apartments and a small courtyard, with a parking lot behind. It is located right next to the Apricot Square park.
In The Silver Case, it is one of the main recurring locations of the Placebo storyline, as it is the location of Tokio Morishima's apartment. It makes a major appearance in case#2:spectrum, where the Heinous Crimes Unit is called to investigate the apparent suicide of one of its residents, Kenichi Hiruma. On June 22nd, 1999, Hiruma chased after two young boys who also lived at the apartments, Koichi Sugita and Hikaru Kobayashi, possibly intending to kill them. Hikaru was cornered and died of a heart attack. On June 29th, Koichi confronted Hiruma on the third floor, hoping to be killed by him out of guilt. In the ensuing struggle Hiruma fell from the balcony to his death. The body was discovered the next morning by the building manager, Mizoguchi.
