Maejima is a character in the Matchmaker story of The 25th Ward: The Silver Case. A senior cleaner for the Postal Federation, he frequently appears to dispose of bodies once the Regional Adjustment Bureau has carried out their deadly work.
Appearance and Personality[edit]
Maejima is a thin man with high cheekbones. His hair is in a bowl cut, and he wears oval glasses. He is most often shown wearing a standard cleaner's uniform, but he wears a black suit with a pink tie when talking to Shinkai Tsuki on the pier at the start of "05 moon over 25. Maejima is a consummate professional and close friend of Tsuki and Osato. Despite his professionalism, he is exasperated when having to deal with Osato's reckless behavior in "01 underground theater, and shows concern over his job in "05 moon over 25, ultimately choosing to have his tracking chip removed so he can quit, despite the danger this presents.
