Yuu

Yuu is a minor character in The Silver Case. She is an aspiring internet idol who briefly assists Tokio Morishima in the Placebo storyline.
Appearance and Personality
Yuu is an average-looking adult woman. She has a cheery personality and is very trusting of Tokio. Due to making only a small appearance in the game, not much is known about her. She is an avid internet user, and has knowledge regarding the location of Kamui Net. She aspires to be an internet idol, and mentions having visited Ronny Rockets, a shady club featured in case#4:kamuidrome.
History
Background
Not much is known about Yuu's background. She met Tokio at some point during an unseen prior investigation. She aspires to become an internet idol.
The Silver Case
In report*4:AI, she emails Tokio, mentioning that they spoke a little while ago. She says she did an internet search on him and was surprised to learn that he used to work for a gossip magazine. She asks him to do a photoshoot for her to start her career as an internet idol, and says that she met a genius web designer at Ronny Rockets who offered to make her a website. Tokio later called her over the phone while she was in an internet chat, and she provided him the URL and backdoor password for Kamui Net. Tokio offered to give her something good in return and told her to be careful.
In report*5:HIKARI, Yuu attempted sending an email to Tokio, but it bounced back. She sent it again and he received it on December 30th, containing and Christmas and New Years greeting for him.
Trivia
- Unlike most of the characters in the game, Yuu's portrait in the 2016 remake of The Silver Case does not use its original art, but rather an upscaled PlayStation sprite. The only other character for whom this is the case is Sakura Natsume.
- According to an interview with Placebo's writer Masahi Ooka, Yuu is his favorite character.
