Appearance and Personality[edit]
Not much of Mikoshiba's personality is shown, but he seems to be a competent officer with a dedication to orders. At one moment he seems to enthusiastically pursue whatever he is told, but at times is shown to be reluctant to carry out heinous acts unless he is directly commanded to do so.
History[edit]
Backstory[edit]
Mikoshiba attended the same academy as Sakura Natsume and they graduated at the same time. It is unknown if the two had any sort of relationship prior to joining the Heinous Crimes Unit. He was transfered to the HCU from the Central Police Department's Extrernal Affairs branch. At some point prior, he had begun working as a subordinate to Ryu Munakata in the TRO.
The Silver Case[edit]
On November 30th, 1999, Mikoshiba is introduced to the Heinous Crimes Unit alongside Sakura Natsume, immediately preceding their raid on the IEDU Building to corner Kamui Uehara. During the raid, Mikoshiba meets up with Akira and Sakura on the 47th floor, and asks them to let him know where Tetsugoro Kusabi is. He then reveals that he has been tasked by Morichika Nakategawa with killing Kusabi for going rogue. He goes on to say that Kamui hadn't actually killed anyone and that he wasn't sure what they were doing there. On December 24th, Nakategawa ordered Kenta and Sakura to eliminate Kusabi and Kiyoshi Morikawa for abandoning the mission, and briefed them on the reformation of TRUMP. Nakategawa directly ordered Kenta to use his route to search for their hideout.
Mikoshiba makes his final appearance after Munakata and Nakategawa's violent shootout. He asks Munakata about Nakategawa's dying words, and if he'll be going after the Silver Case. He asks for permission to kill Kusabi, and is shot dead by Munakata.
Trivia[edit]
- It is unknown if Kenta has any relation to Kenichi Mikoshiba.
